This guide walks a new user through the complete process from creating an account to downloading a finished assessment report.
Step 1: Choose a Package
Visit getabaassessments.com and select the package that fits your needs.

Step 2: Create an Account and Purchase
- Click Add to Cart on your selected package
- Proceed to checkout
- Enter your name, email, and payment information
- Complete the purchase
An account is created automatically using the email you provide. You will receive a confirmation email with your login credentials.
Step 3: Log In to the Application
- Go to app.getabaassessments.com
- Enter your email and password
- You will be taken to the dashboard showing your available assessment cases
Step 4: Open a Case and Name Your Client
- From the dashboard, click on an available assessment case
- Enter a name or identifier for the client (e.g., client initials, case ID)
- Optionally add a description or case note
- The case opens and you are taken to the assessment editor
Step 5: Complete the Assessment Sections
Work through the assessment sections in the left navigation panel. Fill in all relevant clinical information:
- Use the section list to navigate between domains
- Answer each question using the appropriate input type
- Add explanations where prompted or clinically relevant
- For the maladaptive behaviors and replacement programs sections, set the number of forms needed and complete each one
- Upload the clinic logo if you want it to appear in the report
- Enter baseline behavioral observation data in the baseline graph builder
You can save and return at any time — progress is preserved automatically.
Step 6: Review Your Answers
Before generating the report, take a moment to review completed sections:
- Check the section navigation for any flagged or incomplete areas
- Review rich text editor responses and use the AI review feature if additional refinement is needed
- Confirm the number of behavior and replacement program forms matches the client’s presentation
Step 7: Generate the Report
When the assessment is ready:
- From the assessment editor, click Generate Report
- A confirmation prompt appears — confirm to proceed
- The case status changes to On Queue
- A real-time progress bar tracks generation by clinical domain
- When all sections are processed, the status changes to Completed
- You receive an email notification that the report is ready
Tip: Use the Preview option first if you want to review draft narratives before committing to final generation. Preview mode generates the content without marking the case as complete.
Step 8: Download the Report
- Return to the dashboard and open the completed case
- Click Download Report
- The Word (.docx) document downloads or opens in your browser
Step 9: Review and Submit
Open the downloaded Word document:
- Read through all AI-generated narrative sections
- Make any edits, corrections, or additions as clinically appropriate
- Add your credentials and signature as required
- Convert to PDF if needed for submission
- Submit to the payer, insurer, or Medicaid program
You’re Done
Your assessment report is complete. The document is also stored securely in the platform — return to the case at any time to download it again.
