Upon completing the RBT Video Course and meeting all eligibility requirements, students receive a digital PDF certificate of completion. The certificate is generated automatically by the platform and is available for download directly from the student application.
Eligibility Requirements
Students must meet all five of the following requirements before the certificate becomes available:

| 5 | Eligibility documents validated | Proof of age (18+) and high school diploma must be uploaded and validated by an administrator |
The certificate download page shows the status of each requirement in a checklist format, so students always know what remains before they can download.
BACB Number
Before downloading the certificate, students are prompted to enter their BACB number. This number is printed on the certificate.
- Students who already have a BACB number should enter it at this step
- Students who do not yet have a BACB number can skip this step and return later once the number is available
Certificate Format
The certificate is issued as a PDF document and includes the following information:
- Student first name and last name
- Course start date
- Course completion date
- Certificate number (unique per student)
- BACB number (if provided)
- Platform branding and signature
Certificates are stored securely on AWS S3 and accessed via a time-limited, signed CloudFront URL. The download link provided to the student is secure and expires after a set period — students can return to the application to generate a new download link at any time.
Downloading the Certificate
- Ensure all five requirements are met (check the requirements page)
- Enter your BACB number (or confirm it is already saved)
- Click Download Certificate
- The PDF will open or download in your browser
The certificate can be downloaded multiple times. Each download generates a fresh secure link.
Important Notes
- The certificate confirms completion of the 40-hour RBT training curriculum and passing of the platform final exam
- It does not constitute full RBT certification from the BACB
- Full RBT certification requires completion of the competency assessment and supervised fieldwork hours through a qualified BCBA supervisor
